Fatal Palmdale Pedestrian Accident Avenue O, Near 185th Street East

Young Man Struck, Killed in Palmdale Car Accident

PALMDALE, Calif. (June 2, 2025) – A 23-year-old man was struck and killed in a pedestrian accident on Avenue O, just west of 185th Street East near Palmdale.

The Palmdale man was walking in an eastbound direction on Avenue O at around 10:35 p.m.
Saturday when the motorist hit him, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The victim suffered major injuries and died following the collision. Meanwhile, the driver and passenger from the vehicle were not injured, according to the CHP report.

Investigators working on the case did not suspect impairment for the driver, but it’s unknown if the pedestrian was under the influence at this time.
