Female Pedestrian Killed on 210 Freeway in Pasadena
PASADENA, Calif. (Dec. 20, 2021) – A fatal Pasadena pedestrian accident happened Monday morning on the Foothill (210) Freeway.
UPDATE: Woman killed in Pasadena pedestrian accident is identified
The deadly crash occurred about 4:02 a.m. on Dec. 20th in the the westbound lanes of the Foothill Freeway at Lake Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
At least one vehicle struck the unidentified woman on the freeway due to unknown circumstances. Paramedics responded with CHP officers to the scene to help the victim. Sadly, the woman died at the scene. The CHP report did not mention the victim’s age or identity pending notification of his next of kin.
Meanwhile, police issued a SigAlert. Also, they closed down the HOV lane and lanes 1, 2 and 3. Authorities diverted traffic from the crash site.
Investigators seek to determine liability for the fatal Pasadena pedestrian accident.
