Deadly Crash on 101 Freeway, Alameda Street in Downtown LA
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Nov. 9, 2022) — A fatal pedestrian accident happened early Wednesday on the 101 Freeway near Alameda Street in downtown Los Angeles.
The deadly crash occurred about 3:40 a.m. on Nov. 9th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A driver reportedly struck a man believed to be in his 30s in the southbound lanes of the 101 Freeway. Sadly, the victim suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the man will be released after relatives are notified.
Meanwhile, authorities closed down two southbound lanes of the 101 freeway for the pedestrian accident investigation.
