
Victim Found on Antelope Road; Driver Leaves Scene and Reports Crash
SACRAMENTO COUNTY, Calif. (March 14, 2023) — A fatal pedestrian accident happened early Tuesday morning at Antelope Road and Daly Avenue in Sacramento County.
The collision occurred around 4 a.m. on March 14th in the Antelope area, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
A driver in a gray BMW reportedly struck a male pedestrian in the roadway.
Hit-and-run Pedestrian Accident on Antelope Road
The motorist reportedly called 911 and told operators “he didn’t know what he hit and kept driving,” the CHP report said.
Authorities responded to the intersection and located the deceased pedestrian, but there are no further details about the victim.
Also, it’s unknown if any arrests or citations were given to the motorist. However, it is illegal to leave the scene of a traffic accident involving an injury or death.
