Fatal Pedestrian Accident at Alameda Street, Vernon Avenue in Los Angeles

Pedestrian Hit by Pickup Truck at Vernon-LA Border
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (April 4, 2025) – A man in his 30s was the victim of a fatal pedestrian accident early Friday near South Alameda Street and East Vernon Avenue in Los Angeles.
The deadly crash occurred around 1:35 a.m. on April 4th, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
A driver in a black pickup truck was heading south on Alameda Street as the victim was crossing the roadway near the Los Angeles-Vernon border, the report said. The victim suffered major injuries and died at the scene.
Meanwhile, images of the crash scene show the pickup truck on a sidewalk and debris strewn everywhere. The driver in the truck remained on scene and cooperated with authorities and the investigation.
The investigation into the circumstances leading up to the fatal pedestrian accident on Alameda Street is ongoing.
