Police Search for Suspect in Hit-and-Run Crash in Richgrove
TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (Nov. 28, 2023) — A fatal hit-and-run pedestrian accident happened early Tuesday morning at Avenue 8 and Road 208 in Richgrove, Tulare County.
The deadly crash occurred at around 5:51 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 28th at the Richgrove intersection in front of the Famous Vineyards storage facility, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
Paramedics from the Tulare County Fire Department responded to the scene and located the injured person, but they sadly died at the scene.
The victim’s age, gender and name were not released. The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office will notify relatives before releasing this information.
Witnesses told authorities they saw a dark-gray truck leaving the area, but so far police have not made any arrests and are searching for the suspect, ABC 30 News reports.
The CHP is heading up the investigation into what happened.
