Woman Struck, Killed on Azusa Avenue
INDUSTRY, Calif. (March 14, 2022) — A driver struck and killed a pedestrian in a car accident on Azusa Avenue in Industry.
The fatal crash happened about 9:40 p.m. on Sunday, March 13th in the 1600 block of Azusa Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
A woman suffered major injuries in the collision. Paramedics rushed her by ambulance to a hospital where she later died.
Detectives initially thought the case was a homicide, but that was later ruled out, authorities said.
It’s unknown if the driver stopped following the crash. Police did not say what circumstances led up to the collision.
There is no further information available. Investigators are working to determine the cause of the pedestrian accident on Azusa Avenue.
