One Killed, One Arrested in Fatal Collision in South Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Nov. 11, 2024) – A driver was arrested after a fatal pedestrian accident Saturday at South Broadway and El Segundo Boulevard in South Los Angeles.
According to the California Highway Patrol, police officers responded to the intersection around 12:44 a.m. on Nov. 9th and located the pedestrian lying in the roadway.
Unfortunately, the person suffered severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by arriving Los Angeles County Fire Department crews.
Police also arrested the driver involved, but it’s unknown at this time what the circumstances were and the names of the suspect and victim were not released.
The pedestrian accident at Broadway and El Segundo Boulevard is under investigation.
