
Woman Struck, Killed at Intersection in Westchester
WESTCHESTER, Calif. (Jan. 4, 2024) — A woman died after a pedestrian accident early Thursday on Sepulveda Boulevard at Century Boulevard near Los Angeles International Airport in Westchester.
The deadly, hit-and-run crash occurred at around 12:15 a.m. on Jan. 4th, according to the Los Angeles Police Department and KTLA 5 News.
Authorities say a driver traveling southbound on Sepulveda Boulevard in a dark-colored Chevrolet SUV struck the pedestrian as she was standing in the roadway. She is described as a Hispanic woman in her 20s or early 30s. The motorist fled the scene without stopping to help the victim.
Meanwhile, police are searching for the suspect and are hoping the public will provide tips or information that might help them locate the driver.
The Los Angeles Police Department is heading up the investigation into the hit-and-run accident on Sepulveda Boulevard.
