Deadly Crash at Phelan Intersection

PHELAN, Calif. (August 28, 2023) — A fatal pedestrian accident happened Friday night at Duncan Road and Johnson Road in Phelan.

The deadly crash occurred around 7:04 p.m. on August 25th, according to the California Highway Patrol report.

CHP officials reported a driver in a vehicle struck the victim at the intersection due to unknown circumstances.

The pedestrian suffered major injuries and died at the scene.

Meanwhile, a tow truck removed the damaged vehicle to be held for evidence.

Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the pedestrian accident at Duncan Road in Phelan.
