Pickup Truck Hits Man on Vista Street
VISTA, Calif. (Oct. 24, 2024) — A driver struck and killed a pedestrian Wednesday afternoon in Vista at East Vista Way and Townsite Drive.
The deadly crash occurred at around 5:10 p.m. on Oct. 23rd, according to the San Diego Union Tribune.
A man in his 60s was walking in a crosswalk when a 2024 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup struck him as he crossed the Vista street, police said.
Unfortunately, the unidentified man died following the collision.
Meanwhile, the woman driving the pickup truck stopped her vehicle and cooperated with authorities and the investigation.
Investigators are asking anyone with information about the Vista pedestrian accident to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 858-565-5200.
