Pedestrian Killed in Collision in Garden Grove
GARDEN GROVE, Calif. (August 29, 2023) – A fatal pedestrian accident happened Monday morning on Garden Grove Boulevard in Garden Grove.
A driver in a Lexus RX300 struck the woman as she was walking in the area around 7:25 a.m., according to the Garden Grove Police Department.
The fatal crash occurred in the 8700 block of Garden Grove Boulevard, MyNewsLA reported.
Paramedics responded and rushed the injured woman to a hospital where she was died from her injuries, the report said.
The Orange County Sheriff Coroner has not released her name at this time.
Meanwhile, police investigating the collision said they do not suspect alcohol or drugs were a factor in the pedestrian accident in Garden Grove.
