Semi-Truck Hits Pedestrian in Fatal Crash on Harbor Freeway

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Oct. 25, 2023) — A fatal pedestrian accident happened Wednesday morning on the northbound Harbor 110 Freeway underneath the Glenn Anderson 105 Freeway in Los Angeles.

The collision occurred on the Harbor Freeway at around 9:15 a.m. on Oct. 25th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported a driver in a semi-truck called 911 after he struck a pedestrian in the No. 4 lane of the freeway.

The pedestrian landed in the No. 3 lane and sustained fatal injuries, the report said.

Police and paramedics with the Los Angeles Fire Department were on the scene.

Authorities issued a SigAlert due to the crash and a hard closure of the Nos. 2, 3 and 4 lanes, leaving only the No. 1 lane open to traffic.

The case remains under investigation to determine fault.
