Man Struck, Killed on Freeway Transition Road at Downtown
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Nov. 1, 2022) – A fatal pedestrian accident happened early Tuesday morning on the transition road from the southbound Harbor (110) Freeway to the westbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway in Los Angeles.
A driver in a white van reportedly struck the man about 5:05 a.m. on Nov. 1st, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Police and paramedics with the Los Angeles Fire Department responded and located the man in the roadway. The pedestrian suffered major injuries and he died at the scene.
They closed down the transition road to conduct an investigation into liability for the crash.
Meanwhile, the motorist involved stopped and police questioned the person about what happened.
