Pedestrian Fatally Struck on Harbor Freeway in Downtown Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Jan. 26, 2024) – A fatal pedestrian accident occurred Friday morning on the Harbor (110) Freeway in downtown Los Angeles.

The deadly crash occurred at around 2:01 a.m. on Jan. 26th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A driver traveling southbound on the freeway reportedly struck the victim in the slow lane at the South Vernon Avenue off ramp, the report said.

Paramedics responded and pronounced the unidentified victim dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, CHP officials closed the southbound lanes of the 110 freeway to conduct an investigation of the crash.
