Pedestrian Struck, Killed on Highland Avenue in Lucerne Valley
LUCERNE VALLEY, Calif. (Oct. 18, 2022) — A fatal pedestrian accident happened Monday night at Highland Avenue and Clark Road in Lucerne Valley.
The collision occurred about 8:40 p.m. on Oct. 17th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch. A driver in a white Ford pickup truck reportedly hit the victim in the roadway due to unknown circumstances.
Paramedics responded to the scene, but were unable to save the victim who died at the scene.
Meanwhile, the San Bernardino County Sheriff responded and an investigation ensued.
Police continue to work on the case to determine fault.
