Man Struck, Killed on State Route 180
FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (June 19, 2023) — A man died Saturday in a pedestrian accident involving three vehicles on Highway 180 in Fresno County.
The crashes happened around 11:40 pm on Highway 180 near Howard Avenue, just east of Kerman, according to KFSN and the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reported a driver struck a man who walked into the westbound lane of the highway.
Two more vehicles also hit the victim in the roadway and left the man with major injuries. Paramedics responded and transported him to a hospital, but he later died from his injuries.
The victim’s identity will be released after family members are notified.
