Pedestrian Killed in Crash on State Route 70
PALERMO, Calif. (June 7, 2023) – A fatal pedestrian accident on Highway 70 happened Tuesday night in Palermo, Butte County.
The traffic accident occurred around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6th at Grover Lane, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A driver in a Honda SUV struck the person due to unknown circumstances. Paramedics responded and sadly the victim was pronounced dead at the scene, Action News Now reports. The identity of the pedestrian who died has not been released, pending notification of relatives.
Meanwhile, a tow truck removed the damaged Honda SUV for evidence.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the pedestrian accident on Highway 70.
