Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-run Crash on Hollywood Freeway
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (April 7, 2021) – A fatal pedestrian accident Tuesday night on the Hollywood 101 Freeway resulted in the death of a 35-year-old man.
The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries in the hit-and-run accident on the southbound Hollywood (101) Freeway in downtown Los Angeles, police said.
Police officers responded to the area where the crash took place about 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Additionally, witnesses told authorities the man went down in traffic lanes just south of Beaudry Avenue.

Paramedics located the man in the center gore point between the Hollywood and Harbor (110) freeways, the CHP said.
Meanwhile, investigators determined the pedestrian had been struck by a motorist that fled the scene.
Investigators seek to determine if alcohol or drugs were factors in the pedestrian accident on the Hollywood 101 Freeway, police said.
Also, the name of the victim will be released after family members are notified.
