Fatal Pedestrian Accident I-10 Freeway, at White Lane in Pomona

POMONA, Calif. (July 2, 2025) — A fatal pedestrian accident happened early Wednesday morning on the westbound I-10 Freeway, just west of North White Lane in Pomona, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the collision at 3:34 a.m. on July 2nd, shutting down a portion of the freeway. The White Lane and Garey Avenue on-ramps to the freeway were closed.

Deadly Hit-and-Run Crash on Freeway in Pomona

A driver reportedly struck the pedestrian and fled the scene, according to a report by ABC 7 News.

A request for the Los Angeles County Sheriff-Coroner was made at 4:30 a.m. The victim’s age, gender, and identity will be released after family is notified.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of the pedestrian accident on the I-10 in Pomona.
