Pedestrian Killed in Collision on I-10 Freeway
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (August 2, 2022) — A fatal pedestrian accident happened early Tuesday morning on the Santa Monica (10) Freeway, just west of La Brea Avenue in Los Angeles.
A driver struck and killed an unidentified person in the eastbound lanes about 3:58 a.m. on August 2nd, according to the California Highway Patrol. Paramedics responded to the scene, but sadly the pedestrian died before they could be taken to a hospital.
It’s unknown at this time what led up to the pedestrian accident on the 10 Freeway.
Meanwhile, police closed down four lanes of the freeway due to the crash.
Investigators are piecing together evidence to determine fault for the collision.
