Driver Hits, Kills Pedestrian on Riverside Freeway

RIVERSIDE, Calif. (Dec. 29, 2023) — A fatal pedestrian accident happened Thursday afternoon on the Interstate 215 Freeway in Riverside.

Authorities reported the collision at around 2:40 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 28th, at Center Street, according to the California Highway Patrol..

A driver struck the victim in the No. 2 lane of the 215 Freeway due to unknown circumstances, according to an article by MyNewsLA.

Police did not release the victim’s age, gender or identity at this time.

Traffic investigator are working on the case and will determine liability.
