Driver Hits Pedestrian in Fatal Napa Crash
NAPA, Calif. (July 17, 2023) — A fatal Napa pedestrian accident happened Saturday night at North Kelly Road, just south of Highway 29.
The collision occurred around 9:50 p.m. on July 15th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A driver in a 2013 Cadillac CTS sedan reportedly struck a Napa man as he walked east across North Kelly Road, the CHP reports.
The man, who was around 60 years old, allegedly walked into the path of the oncoming vehicle, police told the Napa Valley Register.
Paramedics responded and attempted life-saving measures, but the man died at the scene. His name will be released after relatives are notified.
The Napa teenager driving the Cadillac and her juvenile passenger were not injured in the crash. The motorist stopped and cooperated with the investigation into the Napa accident on Kelly Road.
