Fatal Pedestrian Accident La Tijera and Airport Boulevards Near LAX

WESTCHESTER, Calif. (May 29, 2025) – A pedestrian was struck and killed in a car accident early Wednesday morning at La Tijera and Airport boulevards near Los Angeles International Airport in Westchester.

Fatal Vehicle-Pedestrian Collision Under Investigation

The deadly collision occurred around 5:22 a.m. on May 28th, according to the Los Angeles Police Department’s West Traffic Division. Police are investigating the circumstances leading up to the pedestrian accident.

Police stated a man in his 40s was struck by a southbound vehicle traveling on La Tijera Boulevard due to unknown circumstances. Firefighters responded to the scene where he died from his injuries.

Meanwhile, the driver stopped and cooperated with investigators.
