Suspect Sought in Deadly Hit-and-run Crash
SAN LEANDRO, Calif. (May 16, 2024) — A fatal, hit-and-run pedestrian accident happened Wednesday night at Lewelling Boulevard and Embers Way in San Leandro.
The deceased pedestrian was found at around 9:20 p.m. on May 15th at the intersection. However, the driver involved appears to have left the scene, according to the California Highway Patrol and East Bay Times.
The identity of the victim and a description of the vehicle involved was not available.
However, the Alameda County Sheriff Coroner will release the name of the pedestrian after relatives are notified of their death.
The investigation into the fatal, hit-and-run San Leandro pedestrian accident on Lewelling Boulevard is ongoing.
