Homeless Man Killed in South LA Crash
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (May 22, 2023) – A fatal pedestrian accident happened at Adams Boulevard and Normandie Avenue in South Los Angeles.
A southbound driver struck and killed an 85-year-old homeless man as he was crossing Normandie Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The deadly collision occurred around 9:45 p.m. on Sunday, May 21st, according to MyNewsLA.
The elderly man was reportedly crossing outside of the crosswalk at the time of the crash.
Paramedics responded and transported him by ambulance to a hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Meanwhile, the driver involved stopped and cooperated with investigators, police said.
