Pedestrian Struck, Killed at Santa Monica Intersection

SANTA MONICA, Calif. (April 4, 2024) — A fatal pedestrian accident happened Monday morning at Ocean Avenue and Colorado Avenue in Santa Monica.

The collision occurred at around 5:30 a.m. on April 1st, according to the Santa Monica Police Department and CBS News.

The driver reportedly struck the victim in the roadway and then stopped and called 911 for help.

However, the pedestrian sustained major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the person was not released pending notification of their next of kin.

Finally, investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the pedestrian accident on Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica.
