Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Normandie Avenue at Sepulveda Blvd., in Carson

WEST CARSON, Calif. (Jan. 12, 2026) — A pedestrian was killed in a car accident on Monday along Normandie Avenue, just north of Sepulveda Boulevard in the West Carson area.

According to the California Highway Patrol a driver in a grey Ford F-150 pickup truck struck the victim in the roadway due to unknown circumstances.

Paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded around 2:41 p.m. on Jan. 12th to the site of the collision, however, the pedestrian succumbed to their injuries.

The report did not mention the age, gender or identity of the person who died.

Police are working to determine liability for the fatal pedestrian accident on Normandie Avenue in Carson.
