Woman Struck and Killed at Ridgecrest Intersection
RIDGECREST, Calif. (July 1, 2024) — A fatal pedestrian accident happened early Monday on West Ridgecrest Boulevard at South Goss Street in Ridgecrest.
The deadly crash occurred at around 12:48 a.m. on July 1st in Kern County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a driver struck a woman and she suffered a major head injury. Paramedics and police responded, but she became unresponsive and died at the scene.
It’s unknown if the driver stopped after the crash.
Police are investigating the fatal pedestrian accident on Ridgecrest Boulevard.
