
Pedestrian Stuck by Volkswagen in Compton
COMPTON, Calif. (Jan. 24, 2025) – A fatal pedestrian accident occurred early Friday on Rosecrans Avenue and Aprilia Avenue in Compton.
The deadly crash occurred at around 12:43 a.m. on Jan. 24th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A driver in a gray Volkswagen struck the pedestrian due to unknown circumstances.
CHP officers responded to the Compton intersection where they located the victim down in the roadway in the truck lane on Rosecrans Avenue.
Unfortunately, the person was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff-Coroner has not released their name, pending notification of their next of kin.
