Pedestrian Killed in Seal Beach Post Office Parking Lot Accident

SEAL BEACH, CA (April 14, 2021) – A pedestrian was killed after an accident in a post office parking lot in Seal Beach.

According to The Orange County Register and My News LA, the tragic collision occurred on Wednesday morning. Officers reported the crash at about 11:11 a.m.

The incident happened when a woman was walking near the building at the U.S. Postal Service. At the same time, a car was driving through the parking lot of the Seal Beach post office.

For an unknown reason, the driver then struck the pedestrian. Police said the vehicle hit her at the location of 2929 Westminster Avenue.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded and found the victim lying on the ground as a result of the collision. They soon pronounced her dead at the scene.

The name of the deceased woman has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, authorities closed the parking lot of the post office for a time following the accident.
