Man, 30, Struck and Killed by Vehicle
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (July 22, 2024) – A 30-year-old man died early Monday morning when he was struck by a vehicle on Sherman Way in the Lake Balboa area of Los Angeles.
The deadly crash occurred about 2:20 a.m. on July 22nd in front of 17231 Sherman Way, according the Los Angeles Police Department and MyNewsLA.
A driver struck the man as he was reportedly walking in the roadway.
Paramedics responded and began CPR on the victim before he was rushed to a hospital, but unfortunately he died at the hospital from his injuries, the report said. The man’s name was not released, but authorities stated he is believed to be homeless.
Police gave a field sobriety test to the male driver man, however, there were no arrests reported.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the pedestrian accident on Sherman Way.
