Landscaper Killed in Crash Near Ernest E. Debs Regional Park
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Sept. 29, 2022) – A fatal pedestrian accident happened Wednesday afternoon on South Huntington Drive in El Sereno near the Ernest E. Debs Regional Park.
The collision occurred about 1:50 p.m. on Sept. 28th, at Rosemead Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A driver reportedly struck a landscaper in a median in front of 4927 S. Huntington Drive and then vehicle overturned onto its roof.
The driver suffered injuries in the crash, but managed to get out of the vehicle. Paramedics transported the person to a hospital where they are listed in fair condition.
Sadly, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
Also, the report did not provide the victim’s age, gender or identity at this time.
Investigators continue to work on determining the cause of the pedestrian accident on Huntington Drive.
