A suspect in an unknown vehicle reportedly struck the victim riding a bicycle around 10:45 p.m. on Sept. 10th, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department.

The report stated the person may have been riding in the northbound bicycle lane on Springdale Street at the time of the collision, but that has not been confirmed.

The unidentified motorist fled the scene after hitting the person in the roadway. The collision was the last of three reported hit-and-run collisions last night involving pedestrians on bicycles. The first occurred around 10 p.m. as a person rode their bicycle in a crosswalk at Warner Avenue and Edwards Street. The cyclist suffered minor injuries. The motorist fled the scene.
