SAN DIEGO, Calif. (June 19, 2023) — A fatal pedestrian accident happened Saturday night on state Route 94, just west of 28th Street in Golden Hill.
A driver in a white pickup truck reportedly hit the person around 9:22 p.m. on June 17th, according to the California Highway Patrol report.
The motorist in the Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck pulled over to the right side of SR-94 onto the shoulder following the collision, the San Diego Union Tribune reports.
Paramedics and police responded to state Route 94 after someone called 911 to report the pedestrian accident. Sadly, the pedestrian died at the scene of the crash.
Meanwhile, investigators spoke with the driver and are working to determine fault for the pedestrian accident on state Route 94.
The San Diego Medical Examiner will identify the victim after they notify family members.
