PITTSBURG, Calif. (March 8, 2023) — A fatal Pittsburg pedestrian accident happened Tuesday night at Stoneman Avenue and Briarcliff Drive near Black Diamond High School.
The traffic accident occurred around 9 p.m. on March 7th, according to the Pittsburg Police Department and SF Gate.
Authorities sent officers to the scene where they located the pedestrian and closed down the roadway.
The report did not mention if the motorist stopped following the crash.
Meanwhile, police did not confirm the victim’s age, gender or identity at this time, pending notification of relatives.
Furthermore, the cause of the deadly crash remains under investigation.
