Pedestrian Killed in Crash in South Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Feb. 12, 2024) – A fatal pedestrian accident happened early Sunday at South Vermont Avenue and West 120th Street in South Los Angeles.
The deadly crash occurred at around 1:30 a.m. on Feb. 11th at the intersection, just west of the Harbor (110) Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Authorities say the pedestrian suffered major injuries and died at the scene. Meanwhile, the report did not mention if the driver involved stopped after the crash or if there were any citations or charges pending at this time.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner will release the victim’s age, gender and identity after notifying relatives about their death.
The fatal pedestrian accident on Vermont Avenue remains under investigation to determine fault.
