Pedestrian Struck and Killed in South Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (August 1, 2023) – A fatal pedestrian accident happened early Tuesday at Vermont Avenue and Florence Avenue in South Los Angeles.
The deadly crash occurred about 5:40 a.m. on August 1st, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The victim suffered major injuries and died at the scene, according to MyNewsLA. The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner will release the victim’s name after notifying relatives.
Police responded and are gathering evidence to determine the cause of the crash.
Witnesses are urged to call police at 877-LAPD-247.
