Pedestrian Struck, Killed in Vermont Square Area
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Nov. 4, 2024) – A woman in her 20s was struck and killed late Sunday in a pedestrian accident on Western Avenue at 41st Street in the Vermont Square area of Los Angeles.
The young woman was reportedly walking outside of a crosswalk when she was struck by two vehicles around 11:45 p.m. on Nov. 3rd, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The first collision happened in the northbound lane of Western Avenue. The woman was thrown into southbound lanes after being hit by the first driver. That’s when The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, but has not been identified.she was struck by a second driver. Both of the motorists stopped and cooperated with authorities.
The Los Angeles Police Department is heading up the investigation into the pedestrian accident on Western Avenue.
