Yuba Sutter Pedestrian Accident Natomas Road and Sankey Road
YUBA SUTTER, Calif. (Jan. 21, 2022) — A fatal pedestrian accident in Yuba Sutter happened early Friday morning at Natomas Road and Sankey Road.
The deadly crash happened about 4:56 a.m. on Jan. 21sth near a truck repair shop, AL Truck and Trailer, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials report the entire roadway was blocked by the collision.
Prior to the collision, witnesses reported the pedestrian walking in a northbound direction on Natomas Road. A driver in a red Ford F-150 pickup truck reportedly struck the victim just before 5 a.m. and pulled over and stopped on the right shoulder.
Someone called 911 to report the collision and the Sutter County Sheriff’s Office responded. Sadly, the pedestrian suffered major injuries and died at the scene.
Meanwhile, investigators are working to determine fault for the crash.
