Fatal Pedestrian Crash Mission Bay Drive in San Diego

fatal San Diego crashSAN DIEGO, California (May 9, 2016) — A 32-year-old woman was struck by a car and killed Sunday night as she stepped out of her car on Mission Bay Road, according to a report by CBS 8 News.

The fatal crash took place about 9:14 p.m. Sunday night in the 4300 block of Mission Bay Drive when she was hit by a 2015 Kia Optima. The 67-year-old male driver of the Kia was traveling southbound on Mission Bay Drive when he struck the woman.  Police say the driver stopped and remained at the scene and was questioned by police.
