Pedestrian Hit and Killed by Vehicle on 73rd
DATE OF ACCIDENT: Friday, October 5th
October 6, 2018 – A fatal pedestrian accident occurred on 73rd Avenue Friday evening, according to SF Gate.
Officials said an unidentified man was struck by a vehicle in the 2500 block of 73rd, between Garfield Street and Bancroft Avenue.
Deadly Hit-and-Run Accident Friday in Oakland
Primary reports indicated the pedestrian suffered fatal trauma as a result of the collision, but it was not immediately clear if the victim died at the scene or at a hospital.
Meanwhile, authorities did not immediately provide a description of the hit-and-run motorist or of the suspect vehicle.
The detectives handling the case continue to work to determine exactly how and why the deadly collision took place.
