Fatal Pedestrian Hit-and-run Crash on Howe Avenue in North Sacramento

Pedestrian Struck, Killed on Howe Avenue

NORTH SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Oct. 21, 2024) — A fatal pedestrian hit-and-run crash on Howe Avenue left one person dead in North Sacramento.

The deadly collision occurred near 1100 Howe Avenue at 3:57 a.m. on Oct. 20th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the driver fled the scene after hitting the victim in the roadway due to unknown circumstances.

The unidentified person was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the pedestrian crash on Howe Avenue.
