Fatal Pedestrian, Motorcycle Crash on Vermont Avenue in Koreatown
Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Motorcycle Near Koreatown
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (June 27, 2025) — A pedestrian was killed late Thursday night after being struck by a motorcycle on Vermont Avenue near the Koreatown area, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Officers from LAPD’s Olympic Division responded to a traffic collision at the intersection of South Vermont Avenue and San Marino Street at approximately 10:51 p.m. Investigators say the motorcyclist was headed south on Vermont Avenue when the crash occurred.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel pronounced the 47-year-old pedestrian dead at the scene. The motorcyclist was transported to a nearby hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are still under investigation.
