Highway 58 Near Kramer Junction Pedestrian Accident
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (January 5, 2021) — A 52-year-old Hispanic man was stuck by a tractor trailer in a fatal pedestrian accident on State Highway 58 near Kramer Junction.
The crash happened about 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 3rd. The truck struck the man on Highway 58, roughly a mile west of US 395, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner. Additionally, police did not mention why the man was on the highway prior to the crash.
Meanwhile, the man’s death was confirmed at the scene. However, the name of the pedestrian will be released after his family is notified. The CHP’s Barstow Station is heading up the investigation into the incident.
Furthermore, witnesses are urged to contact the CHP.
