 Fatal Perris Helicopter Crash Pulsar View Road, Chasity Road

2 Murrieta Men Killed in Crash in Riverside County

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. (March 27, 2023) — Two people have died in a helicopter crash in Perris near Pulsar View Road and Chasity Road in an unincorporated area just east of Perris.

Mark Carter, 61, and Dennis Foster, 62, both of Murrieta, both died in the crash that happened around 12:22 p.m., according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. Mark Carter’s niece told CBS News that he was the pilot and also that he had 25 years of flight experience. 

The collision occurred on Friday, March 24th, 2023, authorities said.

A 7-seat Bell 407 helicopter with just two people board went down due to unknown circumstances.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene and located the two men who suffered fatal injuries at the scene, but there are no further details.

The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board officials responded and are heading up an investigation into the crash.
