Bicyclist Killed in Collision on Sheep Creek Road in Phelan
PHELAN, Calif. (Sept. 9, 2021) — A fatal Phelan bicycle accident happened Wednesday night at Sheep Creek Road near Phelan Road in San Bernardino County.
The collision happened about 9:41 p.m. on August 8th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officers responded to Sheep Creek Road near Phelan Road in Phelan. They located the male bicyclist in the roadway and transported him to Desert Valley Hospital.
The cyclist died a few hours later at 12:12 a.m. on August 9th at the hospital, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office.
The victim’s name is being withheld pending notification of his family.
Witnesses or anyone with information about the collision may contact the California Highway Patrol.
