Teen Riding Dirt Bike Killed in Phelan Crash
PHELAN, Calif. (June 15, 2022) — A fatal Phelan motorcycle crash happened Wednesday afternoon at Sheep Creek Road and Sunnyslope Road, just east of Serrano High School.
A driver in a Chevrolet Tahoe called 911 about 1:27 p.m. on June 15th to report he struck a dirt bike rider, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The motorist told police he was “driving down a dirt road and the dirt bike came around the coroner and hit the front of his Tahoe,” the report said.
He told the operator the victim was about 14 to 15 years old.
Paramedics responded to the scene, but sadly the young person died from their injuries.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the crash.
