Hit-and-Run Crash Kills Pedestrian in Phelan
PHELAN, Calif. (Feb. 5, 2024) — A fatal hit-and-run pedestrian accident happened early Monday at Johnson Road and Daisy Lane in Phelan.
An unidentified man was struck and killed by a suspect driving a vehicle on February 5th at around 6:09 a.m., according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the man was found along southbound Johnson Road, just north of Daisy Road, according to Victor Valley News Group.
Suspect in Hit-and-run Crash Sought by Police
Meanwhile, the driver failed to stop after the fatal Phelan pedestrian accident and help the victim or call for help.
Also, CHP investigators closed down Johnson Road to conduct an investigation and gather evidence.
Finally, the name of the man who died was not released and witnesses are asked to contact the California Highway Patrol Victorville Station at (760) 241-1186.
