Fatal Crash Kirker Pass Road
PITTSBURG, Calif. (April 14, 2023) — Gilles Djomani, 25, of Pittsburg, died in a pedestrian accident on Kirker Pass Road early Thursday at Nortonville Road in Pittsburg.
A driver suspected of DUI allegedly struck and killed a man around 1:15 a.m. on April 13th, according to a report by East Bay Times.
Driver Arrested DUI Charges
Paramedics and Pittsburg police responded and located a severely-injured man in the roadway, Contra Costa News reports. Gilles Djomani died at the scene of the pedestrian accident on Kirker Pass Road.
Meanwhile, the driver in the vehicle stopped and is suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol, police said. Police arrested the suspect on DUI charges.
The Kirker Pass Road pedestrian accident remains under investigation by the Pittsburg Police Department.
